I'm feeling Lost

When you cannot see the way ahead.

A word for you

I will lead the blind by a way that they don't know. I will guide them in paths that they don't know.

Isaiah 42:16

A man's steps are from Yahweh; how then can man understand his own way?

Proverbs 20:24

Something to hold on to

WHEN I WAS DOWN, I PRAYED FOR THIS TO END. I WAS SENT YOU. NOT THE ENDING I THOUGHT OF. NOT AN ENDING I COULD EVER HAVE DREAMED OF. HE GRANTED MY PRAYER IN THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WAY — NOT THE WAY I EXPECTED, BUT THE WAY I NEEDED. NOW I WILL USE THIS GIFT FOR YOU, AND I SHALL DO HIS WORK ALONGSIDE YOU. “I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.” — Psalm 40:1–2THERE ARE NO BAD DREAMS, BUT THEY CAN BE MISINTERPRETED.  THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN GIVEN A GIFT TO UNDERSTAND DREAMS AND TO HELP YOU UNDERSTAND YOURS.  LET THEM GUIDE YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION, FOR YOU MAY HAVE BEEN GIVEN A MESSAGE — YOU JUST NEED TO UNDERSTAND IT. “Do not interpretations belong to God?” — Genesis 40:8It is never too late to find yourself, or to let someone find you. Being lost isn’t the end. Sometimes, it is where a new beginning starts. Allow yourself to be seen. There are no guarantees in life, but you are never truly alone. Open your heart. Light has a way of reaching even the smallest, darkest places. Psalm 145:18 (KJV) “The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.”MANY OBSTACLES MAY LIE AHEAD, BUT TOGETHER, SIDE BY SIDE, HAND IN HAND, WITH LOVE IN OUR HEARTS, WE CAN SMOOTH THE PATH FOR EACH OTHER. THE RAINBOW WILL BE FOR US AT THE END. “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.” — Isaiah 43:2When you come armed with the truth, many may try to strike you down by discrediting you. But do not give up the truth. It was given to guide others towards the light. Jesus taught the truth. You should too. John 8:32 “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”When someone tries to help you when you are down, if they offer you a helping hand, accept it. Don’t let pride keep you down. Remember to be there, ready to catch them if they fall too. Together, we can walk even the most uneven path. Ecclesiastes 4:9–10 “Two are better than one… If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.”

*SUMMARY: GIFTS, TALENTS & CALLINGS*

The notes outline a clear spiritual difference between what we are physically born with, what we are spiritually given, and where we are meant to use those abilities.

*1. THE CORE CONCEPTS*
• *Talent:* Your physical and genetic ability. It is useful, but it is _not_ the ultimate key to your success.
• *Gift:* A God-bestowed "it" factor given to you before you entered the earth. It is what sets you apart from those who are only talented.
• *Calling:* An "Invitation." It is your specific location and assignment where your gift is meant to work.

*2. KEY TAKEAWAYS*
• *The Assignment is Everything:* Your gift cannot function properly if you are operating outside your designated assignment. Just because a job pays the rent doesn't mean that is where you are supposed to be. A light seed in the wrong fertile ground is still wrong.
• *Calling vs. Sending:* A calling is an invitation. You must accept and understand your specific invitation to truly expand.
• *The Strategy of the Enemy:* The Devil does not fight you, nor can he steal your gift. Instead, he fights _what God bestowed upon you_ by using distractions (bills, people's words, frustration) to *steal your time*.
• *No Expiration Date:* Just like Abraham and Sarah, as long as you have breath in your lungs, your calling remains active. God will have the last laugh prophetically.

*_The Bottom Line:_* Don't chase temporary trends or stay comfortable just because it pays the bills. Focus on your unique, God-given Gift, step into your specific Assignment, and refuse to let daily distractions steal your time.

Just keep coming to the meetings.

In Plain Words — a companion to Marianne's teaching

1. It's About What Jesus Did, Not What You Do

When you come to God, you aren't saved by trying to be perfect. You are saved because of what Jesus already did for you.

  • You don't qualify yourself by your own good deeds. His love and his sacrifice are what qualify you.
  • Don't try to change everything overnight. Real change takes time; rushing it only leads to faking it.
  • Even if you slip up or make a mistake, don't quit. Even a good man falls down, but he gets right back up again.
  • As long as you lean on Him, you are completely safe. The enemy wants you to panic and ask, "How can I ever fix myself?" The answer is simple: you don't fix it by yourself—you rely on Him.

2. A Brand New Start

When you choose God's truth, you aren't just "trying to behave better." You are made brand new on the inside.

  • The old habits and the old life might still be around you, but they no longer define who you are.
  • Sin doesn't have to stick to you or stain you anymore, because your heart is being cleaned and renewed by God.
  • A lot of religious folks make the mistake of relying on themselves instead of relying on God. But real power comes from leaning entirely on Him, not on your own strength.

3. Beware of Fault-Finding and Confusion

The Bible warns that people can easily get misled by fancy talk and false ideas:

1 TIMOTHY 4:1
"In the last days many will depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils."

  • Being enticed into wrong thinking doesn't mean someone is out worshipping evil—it usually just means your thinking got twisted away from simple truth.
  • A big warning sign of false religion is when people become judgmental—spending all their time pointing out everyone else's flaws and calling others "fake."
  • A true man or woman of God shows who they are by their love and actions, not by arguing or judging.

4. Don't Try to Walk the Path Alone

Nobody figures God out entirely in a vacuum.

  • Throughout history, faith was passed down from person to person—a mother, a sister, a trusted teacher who showed you the way.
  • Too many people get stuck arguing over verses while having zero love or spiritual understanding in their hearts.
  • Remember: people knew and loved God through relationships and real truth long before books were printed. Don't let arguments over rules replace knowing Him.

5. Freedom is the Proof

Real truth brings peace and freedom—not heavy chains.

  • Ironically, overly religious people are often the hardest to help. They get stuck doing things that don't work, and they refuse to admit it.
  • If you want to grow in life, listen to people who are actually living with peace, wisdom, and success.
  • Don't go asking for help only to argue with the person trying to help you. Be humble enough to receive.

6. God Doesn't Want to Deprive You

Some religious teachings make it sound like God wants you miserable, broke, and empty. That is simply not true.

  • Some tell you it's unholy to marry, or unholy to eat certain foods. But God created good things for us to enjoy!
  • You can enjoy blessings, success, and good things in life—as long as those things don't end up owning you.
  • God wants you to prosper, be healthy, and have your soul flourish. If having something will pull you away from Him, He will keep it from you for your own good. But if it keeps you close to Him, He loves to give it to you.

7. Be an Encourager, Not a Judge

  • You don't represent Christ by running around telling everyone they are wrong and need to repent.
  • True faith means living in the truth yourself, excelling in the gifts God gave you, and using your life to lift other people up.
